The flagship wine from Rocca della Maccie. It is the fruit of many years of work at the Le Macie estate in Castellina in Chianti. The Gran Selezione project began in 2000. Perfectly rated by top wine critics. Aged wine 18 months in oak barrels and at least one year in a bottle before sale. The nose and palate are impressively concentrated, elegant and spicy. Recommended for red meats, venison and ripe cheeses.
