Chianti is one of the most recognizable Italian wines in the world and the trademark of Tuscany. The Sangiovese strain is always used for the production of Chianti, but other varieties of grapes have been added since 1996. Most often these are international varieties - such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It is important that Sangiovese must be in the vast majority - an acceptable, minimum level of this strain is 80%.
Chianti Classico Famiglia Zingarelli was born together with the vineyard and throughout these years evolved together with her. This wine is the result of the careful selection of high-quality grapes from the Rocca delle Mat estate in the Chianti Classico region. The grapes from which the wine is produced are harvested by hand. After the fermentation process, the wine is aged for approx. 8 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Very aromatic with distinctive fruity, perfectly balanced and harmonious with a good structure. It has a shiny, ruby color, it is dominated by aromas of red fruits and herbs. Perfect for braised meats and pasta.
