Tommasi's passion for wine and the desire to discover and choose the best Italian vineyards, led them to buy land in the heart of Puglia, in the Salento region, one of the best Primitivo grape growing areas, where viticulture has an extremely ancient origin dating back to the times of Magna Graecia. Bushes grow quite lush, and they like the hot climate the most. The grapes are large and compact, and the skin of the fruit is thin. Currently, it is one of the most popular varieties on the Polish market.
Named after son of Zeus, 100% Primitivo, after 12-day fermentation in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature, matured for 10 months in oak barrels. Hercales has an intense deep red color. The wine is rich in notes of spices, licorice, blackberry and cherry fruit and chocolate notes that give the bouquet a complexity. Interesting acidity and a restrained level of alcohol keep freshness in the whole texture. Well balanced with a good structure, nice length and fruity flavors. Great wine for roasted and grilled meats. It fits perfectly with venison dishes and ripe hard cheeses.
