Cava - sparkling wine produced by the "Champagne" or "traditional" method in the Penedes region, located in the northern part of Spain. As the only one among sparkling wines distinguished by the category DO (denominación de origen) - controlled place of origin. The name "Cava" comes from the Catalan word for a cellar where wine is stored. More and more fashionable for many years, a pink variety is produced either from Pinot Noir or from the regional variety of red vine - Trepat.

This fresh and expressive Cava goes towards ripe juicy red fruit. It works great as an aperitif, it also suits all kinds of birds and pasta with meat sauces
