Beaune Greves Vigne de l'Enfant Jesus Premier Cru
This dark ruby wine was made exclusively from the Pinot Noir variety, the grapes of which have been hand-picked and carefully selected. Aged for 12 to 14 months in French oak. It is distinguished by wonderful aromas of fruit and spices with oak accents. Intense, full and at the same time very delicate on the palate, with a pleasant velvety touch and a long tip full of flavors of cherries, spices and herbs. It has a very good aging potential. Recommended for cheese and bird dishes.

The name "Vigne de l'Enfant Jesus" refers to an old story. It is said that Margaret of the Blessed Sacrament, a Carmelite nun of Beaune (1619-1648) and founder of the convent "Domestiques de la famille du Saint Enfant Jesus", predicted the birth of the King of France, Louis XIV. On the day of the birth of the future "Sun King", this very unique vineyard, which belonged to the monastery, took the name "Vigne de L'Enfant Jesus". In 1791, when all the national property was sold, Bouchard Pere et Fils bought 10 hectares of land, located in the heart of Beaune Greves.
