Langhe Chardonnay "Bastia"
The wine was made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, the vines of which are planted in Langhe. After being harvested manually, the grapes are fermented and aged for about sixteen months in small oak barrels. The result of these activities is an excellent white wine with a complex structure. The intense and complex aroma includes accents of wood, ripe fruit and a hint of almond. Long, strong flavor.

Malvira started production in 1950 - back then it was managed by Giuseppe Damonte. He was an outstanding winemaker, but also a visionary - he knew how to maximize the cultivation of grapes in the Roero region. Today the property is managed by Massimo and Roberto - Giuseppe's sons, who inherited their father's passion. All the workers of the vineyard, although they are not born family, make up the great Malvira family. Everyone, from the gentlemen pruning the vines to the ladies selecting the grape bunches, works in their duties as if they were working on their property. This gives us a guarantee of very high quality wines produced in the Malvira vineyard.
