Merlot del Vento
A wine with a slender silhouette and a dark red color with ruby reflections. It matures for about 4 months in French oak barrels. The abundant bouquet of ripe blackberries and raspberries combined with aromatic vanilla causes a pleasant sensation. Mild in the mouth with a long lasting finish emphasized by the touch of a barrel. It goes well with risotto, roasted meats and venison.

Merlot is a strain native to Bordeaux, France, one of the most popular in the world. Due to its mild nature, it is often used as a base for coupage, most often with varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. As a mono-strain wine it is low in tannins, fruity and smooth in taste.
