Weissburgunder is the German counterpart of the Pinot Blanc strain, which is relatively easy to grow due to the lack of special requirements for the soil where it grows and produces bunches, is resistant to frosts, but due to the thin skin of the fruit it can suffer in regions where rainfall they are frequent and rash. Good acidity, aromas of flowers, apples, pears, peach and almonds, as well as linden honey. In various habitats, it also develops smoky and nutty aromas, usually on a mineral basis.

The Weingut Erbeldinger family winery has been successfully producing wines for over 50 years. It is conducted in an ecological manner. The vines grow on loess-clay soils in prime locations in Bechtheim and Gundheim in the Rheinhessen region. This area is not only the largest wine territory, but the most dynamic with the greatest number of new vineyards with young winemakers who combine tradition with modernity. The vineyard produces varieties that are typical of this region, which offer full flavor and moderate alcohol content.
