The grape vines used to create 'La Rollande' are situated in the plain below the surrounding hills, where the soil consists of granite and quaternary coastal reserves left by the River Isere (clay and gravel). The grapes are hand-picked at full maturity in order to preserve the original fruity aromas. The wine is then aged in 100-year-old oak and concrete vats for 12 months before bottling.
