In 1997 the Tommasi family bought an estate in Pitgliano, starting the "Tuscany" project: POGGIO AL TUFO. It is the Tommasi family's first estate outside Valpolicella Classica. The grapes are carefully selected to represent only the best terroir qualities, the wine matures slowly for a year in oak barrels before being bottled. The label, which sparkles with the magic of the Tuscan Maremma, was created by the master in tribute to Tuscany.
