Ser Gioveto
Bright ruby red color. Ser Gioveto releases a warm, attractive aroma of black cherry, plum and black currant syrup, followed by balsamic notes with a spicy leather and sweet tobacco finish. Warm and balanced on the palate, with a coherent structure of tannins that support the long finish of the wine. Ser Gioveto is long-lived and can mature for up to 20 years. Recommended for heavy sauces, meats, game dishes and hard cheeses.

The production of this wine dates back to 1985. It was then that Italo, the founder of the vineyard, created the Ser Gioveto wine to pay tribute to his son, who started working on the vineyard this year. The name, in addition to associations with the name Sergio, also refers to the archaic name Sangiovese "Sangioveto". The wine is aged in French oak for 9-14 months.
