All the names of Masseria Surani are derived from Greek deities to pay tribute to the area in Apulia where the winery is located. Dionysos is the best red wine from Apulia's Masseria Surani vineyard. After fermentation, Primitivo Riserva is matured in oak barrels for 15 months and then in a bottle for 6 months.

Tommasi's passion for wine and the desire to discover and choose the best Italian vineyards led them to Puglia. About 80 hectares of land have been purchased in Manduria, in the Salento area, which is one of the best Primitivo grape-growing zones. The viticulture there is of extremely ancient origin, dating back to the Magna Graecia times. The property, which lies approximately 6 km from the Ionian coast, also includes a mansion called "Masseria" from the beginning of the 20th century, which now houses a 700 sq m wine bar. along with a place for vinification and wine maturation.
