Primitivo has been traditionally grown in Puglia since the 18th century. An interesting fact is that in Croatia, where it comes from, it is called Crljenak Kaštelanski, and in the USA - Zinfandel. The bushes grow quite abundantly, and they like a hot climate the most. The bunches are large and compact, and the skin of the berries is thin. Currently, it is one of the most popular varieties on the Polish market.
