It is one of the top German sparkling wines. Awarded many times, incl. winner of a special award in the sparkling Riesling category. Produced using the champagne method (secondary fermentation in bottles), but in "dégorgement" (getting rid of the yeast sediment), it is not supplemented with sweet "liqueur d'expédition" as is the case with many champagnes. Serve chilled 7-9 ° C. Perfect for a summer aperitif.
The Weingut Erbeldinger family winery has been successfully producing wines for over 50 years. It is conducted in an ecological manner. The vines grow on loess-clay soils in prime locations in Bechtheim and Gundheim in the Rheinhessen region. This area is not only the largest wine territory, but the most dynamic with the greatest number of new vineyards with young winemakers who combine tradition with modernity. The vineyard produces varieties that are typical of this region, which offer full flavor and moderate alcohol content.
