Product Details

Rioja is the most famous wine region of Spain, located in its northern part, on the pilgrimage route to Santiago del Compostela. The first vines in this area were planted by the Romans as early as the 2nd century BC. The popularity of this grape and the very good results obtained during the production of wines meant that this variety spread throughout Spain and in its various regions took different names, such as Tinta del País, Aragonés, Cencibel, Ull de Llebre, Tinto Fino and Tinta de Toro.

Bodega Ontanón is a multi-generational family winery located in the Rioja Baja region. A passion for the vine, a passion for wine and a passion for art are the motto of the Pérez Cuevas family who believe that each of these elements contributes to human development and experience and illustrates the important connection of the earth with people and culture.
