Beaujolais Villages Rouge
The Gamay vines, whose fruits were used to produce this Beaujolais Villages, thrive on a beautiful hillside vineyard with granite and sandy soils. When fully ripe, the grapes were harvested by hand in early September. The wine has a dark ruby color, develops aromas of black fruit (black currant, blueberry). Fruity, soft and harmonious in the mouth. The nose and palate show small red berries with subtle hints of blackberry. Beaujolais Villages is an excellent aperitif and a suitable complement to most dishes, especially white meat and vegetable-based dishes.
