It is a delicate, light and fruity wine with aromas of white fruit and citrus. It was made from grapes of the Chasselas variety. A perfect wine for an aperitif, it goes well with cold cuts, appetizers and seafood.
Pouilly-sur-Loire is a rare A.O.C. It covers 33 hectares, compared to Pouilly-Fumé, which covers 1245 hectares. Only a few winemakers maintain this tradition.
