The composition of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay fully reflects the characteristics of the Cote des Bar appellation, located in the south of Champagne. Wine made from hand-picked grapes from 25-year-old bushes growing in family estates.
It is an extremely complex wine, with aromas of ripe fruit, white flowers, bread crust and herbs. The mouth is round, elegant, full-bodied and balanced, with a very long end.
Veuve Doussot is a family of winemakers who have lived in the heart of the Champagne region for over a century. The present generation proudly continues the family history of winemaking and strives to maintain the high quality standards and traditions established by previous generations of the family. They use both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varieties to add fresh and floral flavors to create a unique champagne.
It will be great for raising toasts. Perfect for a seafood platter.
