The idea of a partnership between the Ruperts, descendants of Dutch emigrants who settled in South Africa, and the Rothschilds was born relatively recently, in the second half of the 90s of the last century. Thanks to the capital of the Rothschilds and the skills of the Ruperts, it was possible to renovate and modernize the plantation purchased by Anthonij Rupert, founded over 300 years ago by French Huguenots. Currently, the company produces high-class wines, constantly expanding its activities.
