Champagne L by Veuve Doussot Rose

Thanks to the careful management of the vineyards, in combination with the unique climate and soil conditions, the owners of this champagne achieve a silky and fruity texture with flavors of redcurrant jam, raspberry jelly, fresh pomegranate and plum cake. On the other hand, the citrus aromas give this wine a lot of firmness and a fresh and long finish.

This champagne is a great companion for fatty fish and roasted poultry.

Veuve Doussot is a family of winemakers who have lived in the heart of the Champagne region for over a century. The current generation proudly continues the family history of winemaking and strives to maintain the high quality standards and traditions established by previous generations of the family. They use both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varieties to add fresh and floral flavors to create a unique champagne.

So far, it is the last of the L by VD series of champagnes, which was created on the occasion of the birth of the third child of the Joly family.

The champagne is made from the Pinot Noir strain, whose 25-year-old shrubs grow on Kimméridgien's calcareous-clay soils - the best for this grape variety.

Of all Veuve Doussot champagnes, this one is produced in the smallest quantity - only 700! bottles during the year.
