Queiron de Gabriel Reserva
Wine with a heady aroma marked by the perfect fruit and meticulous maturation. The identity of Rioja Oriental, indicative in the Mediterranean notes on the nose, is complemented by the long aging in barrels and subsequent rounding in large wooden vats. A classic style of Rioja winemaking, it is a blend of Tempranillo complemented by the acidity and freshness of the Graciano grape. A wine to cellar, suitable to be enjoyed now but with great aging potential.

La Pasada Vineyard, established in 1989, is located above the village of Quel, at an altitude of 790 m above sea level, surrounded by pine forests and old holly oaks, located at the foot of the Sierra Yerga and Sierra de la Hez mountains. Their steep slopes contribute to the perfect air flow through the vineyards, ensuring a healthy climate for the development of the vines. During the summer growing months, there can be huge variations in temperature (32˚C during the day to 10 doC at night), which allows us to achieve velvety tannins and a balanced ripening of the grapes. Poor, sandy soils with lots of old stones and iron-rich clay help retain moisture during the warm summer months.
The El Pozo vineyard, founded in 2010, is also located in Quel, at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level. There are also poorly fertile soils, mainly sand and clay, with the presence of river stones. The highest-quality grapes for the production of this wine are selected only from a few of the best parts of this vineyard.
