The grapes were sourced from our La Pampa 1997 Estate, situated at 1,300 masl in the San Pablo GI, Uco Valley. Planted in 1997, this vineyard was one of the first in Mendoza at such an elevation. The ungrafted massal selection vines have been trellis-trained with vertical shoots and irrigated with pure Andes cordillera meltwater. The sandy soil has a depth of 25 cm with a prevalence of limestone-encrusted stones. The vineyard is sustainably managed and the climate is cool with wide thermal amplitude. The grapes were harvested on 6 and 7 April.
