Intense bouquet with aromas of red and black fruit, spices and a hint of oak. Rich and structured on the palate, this wine takes a little patience to reveal its complexity and uniqueness.
Excellent aging potential - at least 10 years
Serve with venison, wild birds, and full-bodied cheeses.
The first traces of vineyards in Aloxe-Corton come from the 2nd century BC.
Corton is the only Grand Cru red wine in the Côte de Beaune and in the Côte d'Or, coming from an appellation divided into "sub-climates". "Le Corton" is a historic vineyard that gave its name to the entire Appellate of Corton.
