The Kellerei Auer vineyard in Alto Adige is a small wine-producing area where viticulture has a historical origin dating back to Roman times.
The "land of wine" according to generations of grapeviners, where the special mountain microclimate of the Alps is softened by the air from the Mediterranean Sea, provides ideal conditions for the production of white wines of high quality.
High quality is the result of the great passion that producers have for their local "terroir". The grapes come from vineyards located on the hills from 200 to 400m. above sea level. The grapevines are grown in calcareous soils composed of clay and stones, with a marked temperature difference between day and night.
