Riesling Hochgewachs Feinherb

Intense Riesling, with a good depth of aroma and flavor, and barely noticeable residual sugar. Made from grapes harvested from old vines from the Gundheimer Mandelbrunnen vineyard. In the aroma you can feel an apple mixed with lemon and an elegant mineral note. The Feinherb designation means that it is a semi-dry wine, but in combination with a dinner it can function as a dry wine. Perfect for German cuisine, famous for its salad with mayonnaise sauces, German potato salad, roasted sauerkraut and bratwurst. This wine goes well with Asian cuisine.

Riesling wines are additionally named "Hochgewächs" when they are rated highly in a quality test by the Ministry of Agriculture. It is one of the most important wines in the Erbeldinger winery.

The Weingut Erbeldinger family winery has been successfully producing wines for over 50 years. It is conducted in an ecological manner. The vines grow on loess-clay soils in prime locations in Bechtheim and Gundheim in the Rheinhessen region. This area is not only the largest wine territory, but the most dynamic with the greatest number of new vineyards with young winemakers who combine tradition with modernity. The vineyard produces varieties that are typical of this region, which offer full flavor and moderate alcohol content.
