Poggio al Tufo Vermentino
Vermentino has intense aromas of exotic fruit. Full and harmonious with a bold note of tropical aromas combined with pleasant persistence.

In 1997, the Tommasi family purchased an estate in Pitgliano (Grosseto Province), starting the "Tuscany" project: POGGIO AL TUFO. Pitigliano Estate extends over 66 hectares of vineyards grown on volcanic soil. A few years later, the project was expanded to include the acquisition of Doganella Estate, 24 hectares entirely devoted to the organic grapevine collection, and Scansano Estate, 80 hectares in the heart of the DOC Morellino zone.
Poggio al Tufo Vermentino is a Tommasi family's gem. Poggio al Tufo is the first Tommasi family estate outside Valpolicella Classica. It is a history of the great Tuscan terroirs that embarked on a complex and ambitious wine project: creating excellent wines in the Maremma region of Tuscany.
