Chablis Les Venerables
This Chablis is made of grapes from more than 50-year-old Chardonnay vines that grow in clay and calcareous soils. The soils date back to the geological times of the jurassic period. The wine is aged for over 12 months in vats and small barrels, which is where it gets its characteristic minerality from. Floral and citrus aromas in the nose. It is fresh and tidy in the mouth, giving an elegant, very long finish. Due to its freshness, it goes well with all kinds of salads and fish.
