This Israeli wine is made from 100% Shiraz. The grapes arrived at the vineyard in the early morning after being mechanically harvested. The grapes were separated from the stalks and after gentle pressing they were transferred with the skins and seeds to stainless steel tanks to start fermentation which takes 7 days at 25 ° C. After the alcoholic fermentation was completed, the wine was transferred to a storage tank and the skins were gently squeezed out. in the same tank using a pneumatic press to start malolactic fermentation. The vineyard was founded in 1870 by Abraham Teperberg and his son Zeev Zaid Teperberg. Managed by Moti Teperberg, Teperberg is now one of Israel's leading wineries, producing over 100 varieties of wine and grape juice. The company sells over four million bottles annually, locally and worldwide. Teperberg is mentioned as one of the most famous Israeli vineyards.
