Pommard is made from hand-picked and selected Pinot Noir grapes, which grew on the reddish iron oxide of chalk and clay soils. This affects the intense, dark ruby color of wine, as well as its solid character and tannic structure. In the bouquet you can feel the aroma of red fruit combined with oak notes, in the mouth while the delicate taste of venom and fresh herbs. It is a wine that is aging well. Recommended for dishes with red meat in gravy, venison and aromatic cheese.
