Chateau Grand Tayac
Grand Tayac has an extensive and elegant bouquet, clearly marked with aromas of blackberries, graphite and violets. The palate is moderately saturated with soft tannins, very lithe and harmonious, with a detailed, sensual finish of dark plum and blackberry. It's hard to resist.
This wine is usually composed of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot with an average age of 50 years. All the vines grow on a single plot of land with the same terroir as the famous Chateau Margaux and Chateau Palmer vineyards.
Thanks to this, the wine is very concentrated, has a deep color and is rich in tannins.
The wine matured in French oak barrels, 45% of which were new.
