Chateau Grenouille is a strong, classically acidic wine of remarkable harmony. A wine with a beautiful, sunny color and exceptional density, with extremely concentrated fruit, citrus and herbal aromas. Rich and juicy in the mouth, with mineral finesse as well as beautiful depth and balance. The most nut-honey of all Chablis and considered the best. Due to the balance and structure of the wine, it can be aged for 25 years. Recommended for seafood, fish dishes, white meat and salads.
The La Chablisienne repertoire includes both Premier Cru and Grand Cru Chablis wines. There is a significant difference in body build, aroma and overall individuality between the two. Some argue that Premier Cru is the most typical and satisfying, while Grand Cru is more substantial and fat. The delicate and skilful use of oak barrels of various sizes and ages gives an excellent, perceptible balance between richness and clarity, or even purity, emphasizes complex taste layers, and exemplifies the sensual charm.
