Poggio al Tufo Alicante
The wines from Poggio al Tufo are high-quality production that alludes to the great classics of original products, such as this Toscana Alicante IGT. A special grapevine in which the fruity impressions are exalted both on the nose and in the mouth. The grapes are carefully selected to represent only the best of their original terroir and mature slowly for a year in oak barrels before being bottled.

In 1997 the Tommasi family bought an estate in Pitgliano, starting the "Tuscany" project: POGGIO AL TUFO. Pitigliano Estate extends over 66 hectares of vineyards grown on volcanic soil. A few years later, the project was expanded to include the acquisition of Doganella Estate, 24 hectares entirely devoted to the organic grapevine collection, and Scansano Estate, 80 hectares in the heart of the DOC Morellino zone.
