The flagship wine from the Chianti Classico zone. For this wine a bunch of the four best parcels in the area of Castellina in Chianti was used. It's a mix of different terroirs, the grapes for Chianti Classico Riserva are picked and picked by hand, are carefully selected, and the maceration itself is a traditional method for the Chianti. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for two years and then in a bottle for at least three months. In the nose, the strong smells of red currant and cherry with notes of pepper and sweet spices and tobacco. Warm, solid and elegant taste. Long-lasting in the mouth with a fleshy finish. This wine is especially suitable for red meats, roasts, venison and hard cheeses.
