The Tommasi company was founded in 1902. Initially, it functioned as a small, wine farm of grandfather Giacomo, but over the years it has developed into the largest family estate in Valpolicella Classico, run by the fourth generation of the family. Currently, it covers 195 hectares of vineyards, including 105 hectares in Valpolicella Classico and 15 hectares in Lugana DOC. Tommasi is located in Pedemonte, in the north-west of Verona, in the heart of the historical region of the "Classico" region, where the highest quality wines are produced. This Italian wine arises from the passion that accompanies the production of Amarone from Veneto. "Graticcio" is the local name of traditional bamboo stands, on which collected grapes are laid and dried in the open air, just before vinification. After fermentation, the wine matures in oak barrels.
Graticcio has the color of a ruby. The aroma impresses with its rich aroma with a clearly marked cherry. Intense flavor with smooth tannins. Round, rich flavors of ripe fruit and nuts with a nice spicy and spicy tip. Recommended for white and red meat, venison and fresh and old cheeses.
