Chablis Premier Cru Montmains is a deep and mysterious wine. The wine was made from the Beaunois strain, which is a variation of the Chardonnay strain. The average 25-year-old vines from which Chablis was created grow on clay and limestone soil in a vineyard on the left bank of the Serene River, south of Vaillons. Its construction deserves aging in vats, which lasts 12 months.
It is a wine with a transparent, pale golden color with silvery reflections. It offers a subtle nose of ripe citrus fruits, flowers with a present mineral note. Juicy and rich in the mouth. This is a very good, classic example of Chablis 1er Cru. It should be served chilled 10-12 ° C. It perfectly blends with risotto and pasta, baked vegetables, salads and fish.
