The wine has a pale yellow color with bright golden accents. Complex citrus aromas with herbal and mineral notes. On the palate, the wine is well-structured and balanced with fresh citrus notes and a long, crisp finish. The wine is perfect as an aperitif or as a companion for snacks such as soft cheese and serrano ham, as well as dishes based on seafood, poultry, grilled vegetables and legumes.
This wine was made from careful selection of Verdejo from old historic vineyards located on the rocky terrain of DO Rueda. The grapes are macerated and fermented in new French oak barrels, and the wine spends four months aging in a battonage sediment. Heavy rainfall in winter and hot, dry summer contributed to the uniform ripening of the grapes and a fruitful harvest of the highest quality.
